Our Service to humanity

Our Community Outreach Program

Our Church-Based Community Outreach Program is a holistic ministry rooted in Christ’s call to love our neighbours and serve the most vulnerable among us. Guided by compassion, dignity, and inclusivity, the program responds to immediate needs while offering encouragement and support towards long-term restoration and stability for individuals and families within our community

HEALTH & WELLNESS SUPPORT

In partnership with community agencies, the program supports individuals by providing information and referrals to health care, counselling, mental health services, and addiction recovery support. We promote wellness through education, awareness and resource navigation, including Indigenous community linkages when applicable. Our goal is to support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being in a respectful and non-judgmental manner

YOUTH & FAMILY SUPPORT

Recognizing the importance of strong families and supported youth, the outreach program offers mentorship, guidance, and community-based life learning opportunities for young people and families facing social or economic challenges. Through relationship-based support, workshops, and referrals, we help build resilience, confidence, and practical skills that encourage healthy decision-making and long-term stability

FOOD SECUTITY

To address food insecurity, the church operates a Soup Kitchen and Community Meal Program, providing warm, nutritious meals in a welcoming and dignified environment. We also assist individuals and families through food support initiatives, ensuring access to basic nutritional needs while fostering community and belonging

HOUSING SUPPORT & NAVIGATION

The church provides direct support to individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing housing. This includes street-based engagement and referrals to emergency shelters, assistance with obtaining identification and income supports, and goal-oriented support conversations to help individuals explore appropriate housing pathways. We connect participants with external housing providers and community resources and offer encouragement and follow up support as they navigate application and transition processes. The church also serves as a community support point , helping promote stability through relationship building and advocacy.
